Halloween falls next week on Monday, 31st of October, but this year the kids are not asking for treats, but for us to open our hearts to help find a cure for cancer. My daughter came home with this brochure to ask for permission to go door to door for this cause. Usually I don't like my kids to be outside like this, but this cause is very important.
Both my mother and grandmother had breast cancer, and they survived it. But what about the women who didn't? We need to not only think of ourselves, but to find a way to find a cure and maybe this year will be the one when we say "We did it!"
Give to the kids, not candy but a bit of extra change that might save a life.
