CHESSED: FOOD BASKET FOR PURIM

To All my fellow Friends and Family,

As we are all going through a difficult time financially regarding the economy;
we cannot forget to give tzdaka. We have families, our own brothers and sisters
in Israel who don't have food to eat for their children or themselves. They
starve in order for their children to eat. These families are not the typical
kolelman "Avrek" these families are families were the mother or father have
passed or very ill. They B"H have many children and are truthfully poor. These
families, your brothers and sisters that stood beside you in Har Sini, need your
help.

My husband is organizing a "Sal Mazon" basket of food. Each basket is the basic
and minimum that a family needs; Canned food, Dairy products, and Chicken. Our
goal is to make 100 baskets. Each basket is worth 250NIS and is around $70.00 in
dollars. We need to collect this amount before Rosh Chodesh Adar B that is March
6, 2011; this way we will be able to buy all the products and distribute the
baskets 1 week before Purim. This money can come out of your ma'aser.

If you have names that you would like us to pass to Rabbanim for "Yeshuah"
please feel free to pass forward.
