The Internet of Things is HERE! DASH BUTTON

This has been in the running for a long time, scientists have spoken about it, and how it will change shopping and manufacturing even more than the 3D printer!

Now, you don't have to go to the market when you are running low on a product, just press your dash button and it will re-order your product and it will be delivered to you in a few days.  Amazon makes it easy.  This is the up side.  Just press your Dash Button!

The downside is for competing products.  If they are not  "techy" enough to put out a dash button,  then people will not know about them, or want to spend the time to go to the store to buy them.  The consumer will buy the brand name and that's it.

It is only available in the US right now.

So, if you live in the US. try it!

Google Address and Phone book Glitch November 2016

I had thought it was only my problem, but I have been getting a few e-mails and notices from people who want to have my contact info again. It seems that Google is having problems, erasing many names from your address book.  Well, it has lost me some students and customers, let me tell you.

So, I am going back in time, to before the smart phone and I bought an addressbook- diary.  I am in the process of putting in all my important phone numbers.  It seems that you have to have a backup copy even in the smartphone age.

So, if I have not called or contacted you in a while, please phone, SMS or What'sApp me and lets get together again!

In case you are wondering, I found a great sale at Hasal, the local stationery store in Givat Shaul, they have the leather book, and the inside pages for only 19.99 NIS!

Is Empowr social network a scam?

An old adage, that if something is too good to be true, then it is.  Well, I would take a Empowr in the same vein.  It looks good when you first log on, it looks like an updated version of facebook, you can post updates, photos, videos.  There is a marketplace where you can buy things.  You get a month free,   You can see your money racking up.  I had $656 at last count.

But then you should look at all the training videos, and pay attention to the Managed Ad Credits.
Well,  for everything that you do, you get charged.  You pay per day and they take the money directly from your paypal account every month. In order to get paid, you have to wait for 90 days.

I got cold feet.  I was going good, but then that payment, it was difficult to see how much it was going to be and how much I was going to earn.  It looked like I would profit a little bit, and have to pay almost the same amount. 

So, I deleted the account.  Don't look for me there.  Use Facebook instead.  You only pay there if you choose to buy advertising and not by the day.
