Advice to Netanyahu . . . Make Terror prohibitively expensive and untenable

Today there was another attack on the near the Light Rail Jerusalem Train.  A yeshiva student was stabbed and is in serious condition. The attack was across the street from the Area Police station so the arrest was made in good time.

In other news, Parents are not sending their children to school today, Thursday over protest to the security guards leaving before the end of classes. In many high schools, the security guard leaves at 1:30 and classes can go on until 4:30pm.  We parents pay an extra fee directly to the Municipality to pay for the hours of the security guard, so they should stay on duty for the whole school day.

Being that I am a private citizen, I believe that everyone has the right to live in security in our own country.  So in addition to my suggestions I made earlier this week, I feel that the Old City of Jerusalem should be free of guns and weapons.  Just as we all have to go through a security gate to get into the Kotel Plaza, so all the gates of the Old City should be monitored as well.  The only people who should have guns are the police and the army.  Why does a shop owner need one?

Everyone who lives in the Old City has to turn in their guns and hunting knives and then metal detectors would be set up in each gate of the Old City.  Everyone going to the Old City would go through the gateways, ensuring the safety of everyone!

How do we make terror too expensive?  Each family whose members participate in any violent actions has to pay the government $1,000,000  This money would be used for compensation of the victims.

Just a few thoughts.
