The highest from of tzedakah is to help a person get a job.

Tzedakah is a very important action that we all do on a daily basis.  When people come to the door, I give them some money, most of the time, I don't even look to see how much I am taking out of the  tzedakah box.

Today I am going to give you the highest form which is the ability to get a job.

If you are an ok typist, you speak and listen to English on a mother tongue level, are prepared to invest at least a few weeks to individual unpaid training, are able to work from home, and keep to a daily schedule, then this could be a good career for you.

I contacted Avi Noam Taub yesterday, and he sent me the materials to get started.  If you have ever tried to transcribe before without training then you know that it can be difficult. But with the tools that Avi Noam Taub has recommended, it is doable. One tip, it is better to have accurate English spelling and catch every word, than to be super fast and make lots of mistakes.

Yes, it will take time, and you have to be disciplined, but if you have the drive to succeed, it will happen.  The pay when you really get going is very good, and if  you are accurate then you will make money.  I am not a person who likes to watch videos, and an hour and a half video is a bit much for me, but I learned a lot from the first video and I will schedule more time to do the rest.   I wish you luck, here is the contact information.

Good luck!

We can't forget the less fortunate this Holiday Season!

The Holiday season of Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur brings thoughts of personal tshuva. But we can't forget those who have found themselves in financial trouble.  Often it is because of external circumstances. I met a divorcee who was recently kicked out of her apartment, she owes a tremendous amount of money to various places.  In short, if you can help out it would be a giant Kiddush Hashem. Any and all donations cheerfully accepted.

New Feature! Jerusalem Businesses you should know about! Mike Graff Musical Instrument Repair!

Mike Graff, Musical Instrument repairman at your service!

I have known Mike Graff for many years, and he does a great job on repairing musical instruments!
I once bought a  Vito saxophone off of Ebay, (I know, not a good idea).  When it arrived, the case had only one clasp, and the horn was so banged up and couldn't play a note, it must have been doing the "Watusi" the whole the shipping process.  Well, I bought a new case, and Mike did miracles with the horn.  It was back into playing condition and one of my students liked it so much that she bought it!  It was supposed to be my instrument, but oh well, she was happy with it.

Mike repairs clarinet, flutes, saxophones and accordions.

He even agreed to look at my piccolo!  Not much to be done with that one.

You can meet Mike in Person at Samet Music on Kanfei Nesharim in Jerusalem phone: 02 651-8619
He's there from about 10:30 in the morning, but call first. If he's not there you can leave your instrument at Samet Music store and it will get fixed.  Make sure that you tell the staff exactly what the problem is in detail.

I can't say enough good things about Mike's work, I've had several instruments fixed by him, Clarinets, Flutes, Saxophones etc.

If you need help, you can call me, Rachael Alice http://rachaelorbach.weebly.com/

Take a break and enjoy Nature before the school year begins!

During Elul, the last month of the Jewish year, we have to take stock of what we have accomplished, and where we want to go. What is our goal for this coming year?
How can we get there?  Was last years' efforts successful or not?  What needs to change or stay the same?

These are serious questions that every business owner needs to ask, and in the same vein, every person also have to apply these questions to their personal life.

Take some time this month to ponder these questions.  A walk in nature often helps to put things into proper prospective.

Yamaha ELECTONE B-35 NF Pedal Organ for Sale

I have a Yamaha ELECTONE B-35 NF Pedal Organ. It's in pretty fair shape.
I'm asking 600 NIS as is:  there are some keys that are temperamental and I'm planning to get some electric contact cleaner spray and clean the contact points. Once I have it working perfectly, I will then be asking 1100 NIS. Here are a couple photos of it: closed, and opened.

Positive Thinking can change the world!

Everywhere we turn we hear bad news.  That is what sells.  Why do people want to hear bad news?  Well one reason would be that we want to know what bad things are happening so we can avoid them.

I got a call this morning from a relative saying that the Center of Jerusalem will be a mess today because of a parade that is scheduled to go through the center of town.  So that is good news for the people who like parades, but not for me.  I wasn't planning to go to the center of town anyway.

But will thinking in a negative framework really help my life?  In a nutshell, no.  I don't want to be around negative people and I stay away from them further than a Ten Foot Pole!

Most people need to have coaching to be able to change their mindset. You can use many different techniques, NLP and EFT are two of them.  NLP, Neuro-Linguistic Programming,  has be proven to provide rapid change in a very few number of sessions.  EFT, Emotional Freedom Techniques. uses tapping on your own body to help provide change.

Biblio-therapy has also proven to be effective. If you read a book and set yourself up a personal training schedule and with enough motivation on your part you can also change your own mindset.  I have done this personally with the Key to Success Book.  It is an e-book, so you can read it on your phone, ipad or computer.

First read the book from start to finish.  Then, with your calendar in hand set up a scheduled time that you are going to read the chapters one by one and do the exercises within.  Here is the link: http://pageeasy.com/KeytoSuccess/
Yes, it does cost a bit of money, but how much would pay for letting go of negative thoughts?  If you had only positive thoughts then the future will be wide open to you.  Even if your family are negative all the time, you can be a positive person!

Go here now and get this book! http://pageeasy.com/KeytoSuccess/
Here's to your success!
