The New Trend in Banking!

There has been a big change in the banking industry in the past few years. In the past, the banks charged you for having an account, for putting money in the account, for taking money out of the account, for having a credit card and so on and so on.  There was only one bank that didn't charge, but you had to be a "Oved Medina", that is a government worker and then you could open up an account at Bank Yahav, and not pay for checking, and depositing.

But all that has changed! Bank Yerushalim (Bank Jerusalem) now has opened up a new way of doing banking!  I saw a sign while I was on the way to work, that showed a table with all the bank charges of all the banks!  Bank Yerushalim has no charges for any of these things.  They also have a Heter Iska and thus they can pay you a percentage for even having money in your account!  :)

They have a new way of doing business, that is video conferencing with a banker, and this saves them  manpower and space.  You don't have to wait in line to open your account or to find out more information about your account.  The website to check your account is also very easy to get to and easy to move around.
