In Israel, we have an informal system of Gemachim. This is when people open their hearts to help other people. I will list three Gemachim here. (Gemachim is plural for Gemach, meaning more than one!)

The Wig Gemach - Rachael - The Traveling Hair salon opened a Gemach last year to help women who want to wear a wig, but can't afford the high prices. She washes and sets the wigs, when they come in. So far, she has helped women who are just out of the hospital, women who need a wig to work with the public and others.
