*In tribute to Reb Meir Schuster,
a living figure of historical
proportions, serving the worldwide
Jewish community heroically and
unstintingly for over forty years.*
Rabbi Meir Schuster enriched the
lives of tens of thousands of Jews, as one
of the forefathers of the teshuva
movement that changed and reinvigorated
Judaism worldwide.
With sincerity and passion,
Reb Meir single-handedly recruited a steady
stream of young people to fill
Aish HaTorah, Ohr Someyach, Neve
Yerushalayim, Dvar Yerushalayim,
Diaspora Yeshiva and other Torah
institutions.
For so many of us, the beautiful
Torah-true families we have raised, and the
great zechus to be active participants
in the historic mission of the Jewish
people, was due, directly or indirectly,
to Reb Meir's efforts.
Now, after 40 years of legendary dedication to the Jewish people Reb Meir
needs us.
At the height of his activity, at the age
of 65, Reb Meir (Meir Tzvi ben
Mirka) took ill, diagnosed with a
dreadful disease called Lewis Body. Over
the past year his condition has
deteriorated. Today, this holy man is
house-bound and incapable of
communicating. He requires constant
professional attention and medication.
Klal Yisrael owes Reb Meir a huge debt.
It is our sacred obligation to
ensure that he lives the rest of his
years in the dignity that he and his
family deserve.
Please join us and be a part of
supporting Reb Meir in his time of need.
In the zechus of this great mitzvah,
may Hashem bless you with a good long
healthy life - filled with simcha and brocha.
A website has been put together
in honor of Rabbi Schuster where people can
