Jerusalem Marathon stops the city!

As I am writing now, safe at home, the Jerusalem marathon is running throughout the city.  This event stops almost all businesses, and not to mention inconvenience  to drivers trying to get home for the weekend.

Security measures are in place, but will it be enough? We will only know as the event plays out.

I don't mind the idea of a Marathon, but why does it have to disrupt all the city?  Why not have a Marathon through the hills outside the city?

If I were in the race, I would wear my bullet proof, stab proof vest, so as to take no chances.  I don't trust anyone anywhere!

Be careful and stay alert!

Yesh supermarkets are urging customer to boycott Unilever!

This sign is hung in certain places inside the Yesh Chesed supermarket.  It says the Unilever wants to raise the prices of a lot of their products and if you want to help pressure Unilever, don't buy these products and get the competition's products instead. At the bottom of the sign, it says that there might be shortages of Unilever's products, and buy other brands instead.

Do you agree with Yesh Chesed?
Who should be the ones to pressure the manufactures?
Would you go along with this "boycott?"

What is it like in your country? Do supermarkets themselves lead a boycott?

Har Homa

Har Homa is the home of many families now, it was once in the news as an "obstacle to peace" but people have calmed down now.  The prices have also gone up, so try to find an affordable apartment, "Good Luck"
