Catch the Jew by Tuvia Tenenbom Book Review

I can eat books for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner!  So to see a book like this come onto the Market looked like a good dessert!
Tuvia Tenenbom was born in Israel, but now lives in Germany, has and is very successful as a journalist.

It was with very high hopes that I picked up this book.  But sadly to say I was very disappointed.
Tuvia goes to a different place each chapter and it seems like he can't bring himself to say a good thing about the Jews.  He interviews Palestianans, Druze, MK in the Knesset and in each essay you can see his self hatred of Jews.
He lies and people lie to him, it is difficult to see where one starts and one leaves off. He gives his name and nationality differently in each chapter, to different people he meets, Yet he says that the book is  not a work of fiction.  I beg to differ.

After a while I couldn't continue to read.

The only good thing that I found in the book is his translations of Hebrew Names.  Iris Mizrachi a popular name becomes Iris Flower of the East.  That's poetic and nice.  but even he manages to put a nasty spin on it.

Its really too bad.  An author like this could be an asset for the State of Israel, but he just adds to the Leftist machismo genre.

If you are looking for a good book to read at the airport, choose something else.
