In a move that will cause many parents heartache, the Egged Bus company is going on STRIKE today January 4th 207.
This information was very hard to get. I went to English sites, Hebrew sites and only now after a half hour of searching, it is clear that there will be no busses today. The best way to really find out is to go to your nearest bus stop and look to see if there are any busses.
This situation has to stop. Many parents will have to miss work and find childcare, many workers will not be able to get to work.
This is one of the reasons that I bought an electric bike so that I will not be held hostage to the public transportation system
Jerusalem's economy is chained to Egged and City Pass.
Don't send your kids to school today unless you can drop off and pick up!
