The Rothschild Hospital

This is the site of the first hospital in Jerusalem. It was established by Rothschild, in 1888, and in 1939 Hadassah took it over.  The building is still standing and is in use as a medical training center.  I was passing by on HaNeviim Street,  and I couldn't resist to take in this bit of Jerusalem history.
