There are three steps to a more positive life.
1. We first have to be aware of what is your self talk. It is amazing how much we hold ourselves back. Negative self talk drags you down and makes the whole world colorless as if everything looks like shades of grey. What if there were an easy way to become aware of these unwanted thought?
2. There is! Here is one way that is very easy. Women and girls can wear a snug elastic bracelet, men and boys take a snug rubber band. Each time you find yourself thinking a negative thought give the bracelet a ping, on your wrist. This will make you aware that negative thoughts hurt.
3. Do this for a week. For some people this is all that you need to avoid negative thoughts.
4. After a week, if you still need the bracelet or rubber band, keep it on, but now whenever you think a negative thought, replace it with a positive one. Now, you will have a better outlook on life!
