Attention Parents of Olim Students Grades 6 through 9:
Online Summer Courses in Math & Hebrew Especially for Olim Students in
Grades 6 through 9
Tomorrow's Genius, the leading provider of online educational
services for English†speaking Olim, is pleased to offer two
online summer courses for students in grades 6 through 9. Our courses
are designed especially to help ease the transition to Israeli schools,
and will focus on strengthening Math and Hebrew skills, precisely the
subjects new students need most.
Each of our flexible, practical, and affordable online courses features:
* 10 On†Demand Video Webcasts, conducted 1-2 times per
week. Each webcast is accessible from any Internet-connected
computer and/or downloadable to an iPod or other portable device,
so it's available whenever your child is ready to watch.
* 2 Online Worksheets or Activities included in each webcast,
designed to reinforce the topics covered and to make the knowledge
stick!
* 2 One†on†One Online Sessions with the course
instructor following each webcast. The instructor will use this
time to answer your child's questions and review additional
material, providing your child with individual instruction from an
experienced, bilingual teacher with teaching experience in both
Israeli and American schools.
Our Math Made Easy course will concentrate on the differences in the way
math is taught in Israel, teach the specific terms and methodologies
unique to Israeli math instruction, and provide students the skills
necessary to face their first Israeli math class with confidence.
Our Hebrew Basics course will prepare students to communicate in an
Israeli classroom, cover topics such as verb tenses, sentence structure,
and commonly†used Israeli slang, and give students the
opportunity to practice and develop confidence in their Hebrew skills.
