                       A Tour of a Miracle
 
The miracle is the human body, and Aliza Adar

guide.  Come learn about how the body works: 

What is blood?  What is anemia?
What do white blood cells do?  How can you 

see what is going on in your body
by carefully reading blood tests?

 
Come learn about the miracle that you are 

living with everyday: your body and
how it works.
 
Initial session is 50 shekels about red blood 

cells and white blood cells.
 
The next three sessions are about liver enzymes, 

kidney function, thyroid, and
blood chemistry, and the cost is 350 shekels, 

which includes a personal reading
of your blood test results by Aliza.

Tuesday, May 17 at 5:30 pm until 7:30 pm. The 

rest of the "Tour" series will be
on three Mondays from 5:30 - 7:30 pm -- May 23,

other health practitioners  
                     (and 

those interested in the field):
 
Aliza Adar Levine, RMNH, Nurse, TCM Herbalist, 

Midwife, and Medical Researcher
will be teaching an extremely informative course 

after Pesach that will give you
a solid basis of medical knowledge. The long term 

goal of this course is to
teach traditional Chinese medicine, however the 

first few months will be
covering topics that are relevant for anyone who 

is already practicing or
interested in practicing in any medical or alternative 

care related field.
 
In Israel today, most people over the age of 50 are 

taking medications.  Two
out of three girls are on birth control pills.

  It is mandatory for every
practitioner to understand how all of these medicines 

work insomuch as how they
affect the body systems, knowledge which can potentially 

affect the choice of
therapy. The health issues dealt with in class are ones 

that you will certainly
encounter during your practice, and you will learn 

how to diagnose and monitor
certain problems by closely reading blood tests.
 
These classes will be both fascinating and fun -- 

and you will walk out knowing
that you are a responsible health care professional, 

better able to choose more
helpful treatments for your clients if you are 

already a practitioner, and
having a solid basis for any field that you may 

want to continue to study in the
medical or medical-related field.
 
The course will meet one evening a week, preferably 

from 4:00 until 7:00 pm, but
the final times will be determined by the participants. 

It will be located in
Ramot Alef at Aliza's Place.

             Are you interested in being a labor coach?


Come to a Certified Doula Course given by Aliza Adar Levine, RNMH/Nurse/
Midwife/TCM Herbalist/Medical Researcher.

No prior knowlege is necessary.

In Aliza's course, you will learn everything that 

is needed to safely support a
pregnant woman through pregnancy, labor, birth, and 

post partum.  You will
learn the secret behind all of the major childbirth 

methods. You will be able to
assist the birth process with crucial information,

effective breathing
techniques, accupressure, massage, and helpful herbs. 

You will even learn how
to measure blood pressure, read monitors, read basic

blood tests, decipher
medical terms, and help with nursing the baby.  

The course is a fast-paced,
entertaining, and practical hands-on workshop, 

with demonstations, psychodramas,
videos, and most importantly, solid medical information.

There are many doula courses out there.  Come 

learn with Aliza, the
nurse/midwife who has taught labor coaching 

in Israel since 1989.

There is a qualifying exam and a certificate 

on completion of the course.

Price: 3600 shekels, plus a 200 shekel non-refundable 

registration fee.

The course is 12 weeks long, with each session 

meeting one time a week for 3
hours, preferably Mondays from 10 am till 1 pm,

but other times are possible.
