2011-2012 school year!
Do you have the desire to work as part of a team at a unique seminary in Israel?
Midreshet B’erot Bat Ayin is seeking madrichot for
our upcoming 2010-2011 year which begins Elul 5771 (August 30th)!
In exchange for working as a madricha, you will have the following opportunities:
Ability to participate in Torah and creative classes when
free time allows including intense textual study interwoven
with creative spiritual expression in an environment
that nurtures your mind, body & soul.
Hikes to places described in Tanach, connecting to
the Land of Eretz Yisrael, & learning about the
healing herbs found right here in the surrounding area!
Living accommodations provided in addition to
special programs, Shabbat hospitality and daily lunch.
General requirements/tasks for madrichot
(You need to qualify for at least 5 of these points):
1) Outgoing personality with the ability to encourage
other students to participate in programs and to act as liason between staff and students.
2) Good organizational skills to be able to arrange
and oversee that “Mom of the day” (basic toranut of kitchen and midrasha/work-study)
is carried out on a daily basis.
3) Proficient level of Hebrew fluency (reading, writing, translating)
in order to tutor beginner level students.
4) Love of the land and experience in gardening.
5) Significant involvement in Jewish community
long enough to be able to impart the traditional Jewish lifestyle
to questioning students.
6) Ability to lead Hallel during Rosh Chodesh
and teaching Jewish songs etc.
7) Madricha is required to be on the premises two
Shabbats a month and assist with arranging Shabbat hospitality
and “In Shabbats” for the student body.
