Dear Radio Free Nachlaot Friends and Fans -
We're asking you to take a couple of minutes out of your busy day and vote for THE MATZAV CENTER FOR BASIC NEEDS in the upcoming Dell Social Innovation Competition.
The Matzav Center For Basic Needs is a project which addresses the homeless situation in Jerusalem.
The University of Texas at Austin and Dell are giving away more than $100,000 in cash prizes to at least five winning teams who will be flown to Austin, Texas for an expense-paid Finalist Week-End that culminates in a final pitch and awards ceremony.
Dovid Levine, the creator of the Matzav project (and Radio Free Nachlaot's Steve Levine's nephew!).IS THE ONLY FINALIST IN THE TOP 10 WHOSE PROJECT IS IN ISRAEL
.
The deadline for voting is Friday, February 18th - that's this coming Friday!
It's EASY to vote (ok, it could be easier but it's really not that hard).
Voting only takes a minute. All you have to do is register your email at
Dell Social Innovation. They will send you an email with your temporary password (and never email you again). Then, go to Matzav's entry at
Matzav Entry Dell Social Innovation, and click “Vote” on the left, next to their name.
Thank you for caring about the homeless in Jerusalem.
