Lots in Carmit - A new project in the Negev

Hi,
We're making an exception to our longstanding policy of staying away
from real estate projects being promoted on this list.
Carmit, a new luxury community in the Northern Negev, plans to integrate
families from Israel and abroad, secular and religious,
and is being established near Meitar.
The plan is to build a new home in a community with a
strong sense of values, adjacent to the Cramim Forest,
on one of the most beautiful backdrops in Israel.
There are currently 116 affordable lots for sale,
each on approx 5400 sq ft of land.
Registration will end on March 7th, 2011.

The Carmit project will hopefully grow to over a
thousand homes. A larger number of lots are available,
but 116 are being targeted to olim (pre and post aliyah).

Disclaimer: Jerusalem Small Business Blog has no commercial
relationship with the Or organization, nor can it be held
responsible for any aspect of this project. As with all
real estate dealings- get a lawyer to represent you.

GO NEGEV!

  1. The “Heseg Zioni” movement also encourages youth settlement within existing communities in Carmit.
All of us, the 'Heseg Zioni' members, are highly motivated and we have decided to tie our destinies with that of the State of Israel.
"We believe in our ability, as a Group, to contribute to society while fulfilling the Zionist Dream in the 21st Century".
We aim to build our homes and our lives here, to contribute by strengthening the link between the individual and his environment by joining rather than separating out. By enriching an existing community and setting “achievement” at the pinnacle of both the individual and the community goals along with preserving the environment. To realize this end we intend to exploit our accomplishments as a group and extend existing residential zones in the country’s developing areas. Thus, we will be able to contribute to the creation of a united and achieving society while avoiding the damage to nature which occurs when constructing new settlements.
    The Vision:
By integrating the group into the Israeli society & environment, to realize the Zionist Dream in a practical manner:
Building a home in the State of Israel and contributing to the shaping of an achieving community.
    The Goal:
    • Encouraging the growth of an existing communities with the injection of Heseg scholarship graduates and their families
    • Strengthening the developing areas economically and socially.
    • Establishing an Environmental awareness
    The Method:
    • Leveraging on our multi-culture members for community achievements
o Establishing a cultural and educational centre in a lateral link with existing centers
 Programs for multi- disciplinary studies
 Emphasis on the study of the history of the Israeli Nation, Zionism and its values
 Multi lingual and cultural studies
     Cultural events
o Establishment of a kindergarten, with the emphasis on retaining a respect for humanity and the environment
o Establishing a warm home for 'lone' soldiers, during their service in the IDF.
    • Leveraging on our human resource as professional achievements
o Initiating a local development project.
    o Re-enforcing existing regional projects
    o Providing professional communal services
    • Advanced infrastructure, as a mean of protecting the environment and improving the Community's quality of life.
    o Eco-building
    o Solar energy
    o Re-cycling. Desalination & Irrigation using gray-water.
    o Fiber-optic communication infrastructure
