AACI invites you on an unforgettable journey of a lifetime. Seven days investigating, experiencing and encountering these dramatic strands which form the essence of our Jewish consciousness.

Our journey will include: WARSAW, LUBLIN and KRAKOW and lesser-known towns and shtetlach in search of the roots of Jewish life.

·         Feeling the dramatic story of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising
·         Experiencing a Hassidic tisch in the Ger Beit Medrash
·         Undertaking a pilgrimage to the death camps of Treblinka and Maidanek
·         Witnessing the resurgence of Jewish life at the Lauder Morasha School
·         Visiting the grave of Rabbi Elimelech of Lejansk
·         Meeting leading Jewish personalities in Poland: Chief Rabbi Michael Schudrich, dissident and Jewish leader Konstanty Geber
·         Visiting the Yeshivat Chochmei Lublin
·         Visiting Synagogues in Zamosc, Tarnogrod, Lancut and Dzialoszyce
·         Meeting a righteous gentile and hearing her story
·         Spending an unforgettable Shabbat in Jewish Krakow
·         Exploring the “Kingdom” of Auschwitz, with the leading Polish educator at Auschwitz, and an afternoon pilgrimage to Birkenau

Price per person: AACI Members $2100, non members $2150 – based on double occupancy. Single Supplement $250

Includes: Round trip on EL AL, 7 nights hotel based on 4*, Kosher meals on half-board basis with sandwiches for lunch, full board on Shabbat, fully escorted by Rabbi Yitzchak Rubenstein and AACI representative Josie Arbel, security guard travelling with group, free bottled water daily, all entrances, all tips.

About our guide: Rabbi Yitzchak Rubenstein from South Africa, who arranged and will be leading the trip, is currently completing an MA degree at the Hebrew University focusing on Polish-Jewish relations and how they are taught in the Jewish world.  He has guided over a dozen different groups and is currently an instructor at the Shem Olam Institute for Holocaust Studies, and a senior educator in the Nativ program, which facilitates the conversion of non-Jewish soldiers within the IDF.
