Melavim is excited to announce a new course that we will be offered in conjunction with Magen David Adom. The course is geared towards teaching foreign and Israeli caregivers basic life saving techniques. Often, in emergency situations, the caregiver is the first responder and if he/she has the ability to respond quickly and effectively, it could be the difference between life and death. The course will cover the following topics: * Recognizing signs of stroke and heart attack * CPR * Recognizing and treating a choking victim * Medical emergencies such as asthma and hypoglycemia * The procedure of calling and communicating effectively with emergency medical, fire and police personnel Each participant to complete the course will receive certification in CPR and First Aid from MDA. This means, you can feel confident that your loved one is in the hands of a knowledgeable and well equipped caregiver trained to handle medical emergencies and potentially save a life. Date: April 28th, 2011 Hours: 9:00 AM- 4:00 PM Location: OU Israel center 22 Rechov Keren Hayesod Please contact Melavim to register or get more information at: office: 077-501-2786 begin_of_the_skype_highlighting 077-501-2786 end_of_the_skype_highlighting email: chana@melavim.com
