Graphic Design & Shaitels/Yofi Courses Opening to the Public Due to Popular Demand

Due to numerous requests, the Bnos Chana Seminary Halichos

Program is opening
the doors to its Graphic & Web Design Program and Shaitels 

and Yofi Program to
post seminary girls and married women. The program takes

place Sun-Thurs, 10:00
am-12:30 pm, from September 8, 2011 - June 3, 2012.

In the Graphics course, you will learn all the major 

graphics software,
InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop for print, 

as well as learn all about the
creative process, how to come up with designs, 

and all the ins and outs of
graphic design. You will develop a professional 

quality portfolio that will
enable you start working in the field right away. 

We also have a very large
emphasis on web design. We learn Fireworks, HTML, 

CSS & Dreamweaver, and all
about web design. We work with real clients to 

give you experience in working
and dealing with real people, and to allow you 

to have real work in your
portfolio. Very team oriented atmosphere, and a 

large part of the program is
about making presentations of your work to the 

class and everyone giving each
other feedback, promoting a sense of camaraderie

among students, as well as
confidence in one's own ability to create good 

designs, and also teaches
everyone how to give, and receive, constructive

criticism. It is very intensive,
and students going through the program come out 

as confident graphic designers
with professional portfolios and work experience 

to their credit.

The Shaitels and Yofi program is a blend of many

different programs related to
Yofi, combined into one intensive year. A large 

part of the program is working
with real clients, and building up a portfolio 

of work done throughout the year.
Courses include: ~ Makeup for the bride and 

bridal party ~ Hair styles and
up-dos for simchas ~ Cutting and Styling Hair

~ Cutting, washing and setting
shaitels
~ Manicure and pedicure ~ Facials
