Meet Our Chefs
Chef Zev Beck has over 30 years experience 
in the food and beverage industry.  
Trained at the prestigious Culinary 
Institute of America, Chef Beck has cooked
and overseen many excellent kitchens around 
the world.   He has owned, operated
and designed several restaurants including 
the Green Gate in Jerusalem, Century
Grill and Zev's restaurants in Vancouver,
British Columbia, Canada, all of which
have received superb reviews.   His wide
experience has been gleaned from
working in Jerusalem, N.Y.C., San Francisco, 
Vancouver, Hawaii and the
Caribbean.

Chef Aliza Press is the owner of Epices & 
Delices, a unique Jerusalem catering
company established in 2006 that has consistently
received the highest review. 
Trained at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris, Chef Press 
also worked at the famed
"Dalloyau" in Paris before she came to Israel.

Chef Tamar Ginati-Kabilou is studied to be a 
Pastry Chef at Hadassah College in
Jerusalem, doing her internship at "Galia's", 
a unique Bakery Shop that
specialized in dairy pastries. Tamar currently 
works in "Adom", a renowned
Jerusalem restaurant, redesigning their dessert 
menu and creating new courses.
Chef Tamar has created her own line of fondant 
cakes, "Special Cakes for Special
People".

Tuition Schedule

• Special Price for children under 13 at 
specified children or family workshops
are 50 NIS. This price cannot be combined
with other discounts or coupons
• Please email (info@jcichef.com) or call
Jerusalem Culinary Institute at (02
992 3128) to reserve a space.
• Payment may be made by check, cash or
credit card and must be paid in full at
least three days before the class.
• We are Kosher Mehadrin Agudath Israel
under the supervision of Rabbi Binyomin
Adler.
• JCI reserves the right to cancel a class
if there are less than 8
participants.  If JCI cancels a class, 
tuition will be refunded.
• Students canceling a class less than 
three days before a class may not receive
a refund.

Many of you are returning to our workshops
again and again and we would like to
thank you.  Please join our JCI Chef Club 
and after you have attended 10
workshops within a 10 month period, you may
attend the workshop of your choice
at no charge.  There is no fee for joining 
the JCI Chef Club.  Please email us
at info@jcichef.com to register.
