Mishloach Manot for Soldiers

Make a Soldier Happy for Purim!
Mishloach Manot Gift Packages for the Ones Who with
G-d’s Help Will Keep Us Safe
this Purim

Dear Supporter of a Jewish State of Israel,

Over five years ago, the Israeli government
led by Ariel Sharon forcibly
evacuated Jews from all the communities in
Gush Katif and others from Northern
Samaria. We all know the continuous disaster
that has followed, with Israel
being less secure and the terrorists stronger
and more entrenched than ever. It
was during this time that many of us at
B’Ahavat Yisrael began to do some
serious soul searching.

Up until the Disengagement (Expulsion),
besides other numerous services and
activities, the organization regularly
provided services for soldiers all over
the country. After the Disengagement,
many of our volunteers and staff
questioned the wisdom of randomly aiding
potential evictors. Some argued that
it’s not their faults, and others argued
that one must first be a Jew before a
soldier. Since the Disengagement, we have
witnessed Jewish and not Jewish
police and soldiers evict more Jews from all
over the heartland in Judea and
Samaria, albeit in smaller numbers, while the
Olmert and now Netanyahu
governments continue to negotiate giving
away more of our G-d given
inheritance to Jew hating terrorist thugs.
Of course, with all this in mind,
there are calculations being made by the government
as to which security
personnel will be used to throw out the
Jewish heroes of Judea and Samaria.

Looking back to the end of the summer of
2005 and speaking with several people
in the “know”, we have discovered that even
back then the expulsion masters were
careful as whom not to use to evict fellow Jews.
The brave and studious Hesder
yeshiva young men were not used and neither
were the Nahal Hareidi and many top
rated fighting units were spared as well.

As Israel is continuously being pressured
by so many hypocritical countries
around the world to make concessions that
can only bring disaster, while a weak
Israeli leadership does little or nothing
to quell the massive growth of Israeli
Arab anti-Jewish radical nationalism, there
are good young men, our young men,
who are putting their lives on the line,
especially on the borders, so that we
may have a country called Israel. For a variety
of reasons, many of these units
do not have the best food and not
always the warmest accommodations.

It is with the above in mind that we at
B’Ahavat Yisrael have decided to do a
massive Purim Mishloach Manot campaign
to give the real unsung heroes on the
borders a big message of our appreciation
for their self-sacrifice on behalf of
the Nation.
