International Women's Day will be celebrated around the
world on March 8. This day is dedicated to women around
the world and their achievements, to those who fought for
equal rights for women, and to those who continue this fight
today. We also recognize those women whose contributions
strengthen and promote world peace and security.During the
week of March 6-10, in honor of International Women's Day
we will offer workshops and special activities for women and
about women, the changing status of women, and the different
roles women play in today's society.Below is a list of activities
on the occasion of International Women's Day 2001:
