How to negotiate in business and personal life

Negotiation is part of everyday life.  Most people, however, cringe when they think of negotiation.  This is because of a number of factors.

Americans think that negotiation is for people who are low-class.  Sometimes it feels better and richer to just pay the price.

Negotiations take a lot of time and bother, you have to gather information and be prepared to spend time that you might not want to in order to get the best deal.

Negotiations usually mean that one person loses and the other wins. Nobody wants to be on the losing side.

But these stereotypes don't have to happen!
Here are some resources that you can get, one of them for free, that will help you in your negotiations in business and everyday life.

This book, which you can read some of it on-line, has many tactics that you can use when you need to negotiate.

I also started doing this course this morning: https://alison.com/course/introduction-to-conflict-management-and-negotiation

I started taking notes in my own words to help me remember the concepts and hopefully I will be able to be a better negotiator when the next opportunity comes up.

Good Luck!
